Guillermo del Toro’s extravagant, full-hearted creature sentiment "The shape of water" swam away with the best picture at an Oscar function overflowed by a feeling of a change for a film business going up against the post-Harvey Weinstein period. The function, held Sunday at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, exorcized a few devils like a year ago's envelope disaster and grappled with other, more profound issues in Hollywood, similar to sexual orientation uniformity and decent variety.
"The shape of water," which came in with 13 gestures, took a main four honors, including best creation configuration, best score and best chief for del Toro. The cold war-set motion picture, about a quiet lady and a hostage angle man, is del Toro’s Technicolor tribute to untouchables of different types and species.
