Just bought $3 worth of #bitcoin at my local #vons #grocerystore using the #Coinstar machine . What's strange is it only accepts paper money to buy #btc but it is a freaking coinstar machine so you can put in your coins and get a voucher to get cash at the checkout register... and that's why, because they need that process interrupted so they get their 10% cut and then you get cash to buy bitcoin with, using coinme.com with just a phone number and cash, no ID needed untill you redeem a code online at coinme.com , which has you enter a pin and your drivers license number, unlike coinbase and other btc atmz that force you to scan and wait, this was pretty easy and the redemption code you get printed out has no expiration date and is as good as cash, so if you want to stay anonymous just enter the phone number for the person you want to give it to, or when someone is redeeming using your phone number you just have to send them a code that will be sent to your phone via SMS text, so it is a great way to use bitcoin on the street anonymously if you do it right, but not perfect but still a great way to buy when the machine did not charge massive 10% fees. In fact I got a really good price to buy just 3 dollars worth of bitcoin

they will keep adding this to all the coinstar machines and then we will see cash registers at 7/11 selling bitcoin, and also bitpay was supposed tro enable those cash reload cards top allow buying of btc
but honestly this is good enough these coinstar machines are so much better than localbitcoin or btc atm rip offs charging 17%
the only problem now is getting cash from btc but honestly unless ur trying to buy drugs or weed from dispensary thats cash only you dont need it, bitpay debit card is good enough even if atm withdrawls are not coming back which is what I am assuming....
but dude i SWEAR were onto something BIG if we can just get dispensaries to accept crypto directly, and drug dealers to accpet bitcoin on teh street then why even GET cash out?

definitley worth it, even with this recent hiccup where the ATM withdraws are down temporarily , i hoppe... but id still need the card to do debiot card ytransactiosn even if tghis was the case and they had toi cancel atm withdraws
honestly there are no fees i can tel besides the miner fee they calculate but its never over like 20 cents... and they give me the same bitcoin price i see 9on coinmarketcap.. i honestly dont ever notice the fee.... definitely isnt anywhere close to coinbase's 3% which .... id have lost SO much money if i woulda had to use coinbase this whole time....
