I think if the banks own large portions of ripple they can view it as a stepping stone to using bitcoin....THEN the banks will merge with tech companies like Apple and it's new #applecard and the #facebookcoin a stablecoin which will eventually be pegged to their stock price and then unpegged as they print their own nation state style currencies.
