I'd almost forgotten about these in South Korea until my wife parked our car in one today. These parking spaces are set up close to entrances and exits and are for women only. My wife thinks they're actually for pregnant women, which makes sense, but according to Wikipedia they're called "she spots" and their actual purpose is to decrease walking distance for women wearing high heels. To me the image looks like a UFO floating beneath the moon while shooting down a tractor beam. UFO parking?
