Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold. Song from THE HOBBIT sung by me.

"Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" is a song composed by David Long sung by Thorin Oakenshield and his company of dwarves in Peter Jackson`s film The Hobbit based on J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy novel with the same name. The lyrics were written by Tolkien himself but as he left no title for the song, it is also known as The Dwarf Song, Thorin's Song, The Song of The Lonely Mountain, or shortened to simply "The Misty Mountains".

Many people think that Howard Shore /the main composer of Lord of the Rings and Hobbit music/ has composed this song as well but he didn`t. According to the Album booklet:

"Misty Mountains"
Lyrics by J.R.R. Tolkien
Music Composed by David Donaldson, David Long, Steve Roche and Janet Roddick
Produced by Plan 9 and David Long

I created an acoustic version using the first verse as a chorus and adding two more verses from the original Tolkien poem. Let me know if you like it.
