That was just one of the European issuers which hit TenX, Bitwala and a few others. Other Visa crypto cards are still valid and many more will come.

I really gotta get myself a new debit card. I had Bitwala whose issuer was shut down in January due to missing a deadline of new reglementation by VISA Europe. I never heard of Shiftcard before. Anything special to know about them?

It is rough when these debit cards get shut down. The Shift Card links to your Coinbase, and it only costs $10.00 USD. Also, it has very low atm withdraw fees and international fees. There is no fee to spend when used to purchase items. We absolutely love this card. Congrats @Flauwy you won the giveaway! Maybe someday all these giveaways will turn into a new car:)

Is the Shift Card location based? Many cards I checked up only work for Europeans. I didn’t find anything for Costaricans yet.
