Yes, Las Vegas is normal for America

Does anyone else see a connection with violence and murder in American's society and the worshiping of soldiers, armies, of war and the love of "strong men" rulers?
Parents send their kids off to commit and receive unspeakable crimes with only the vaguest of platitudes such as "fighting for our freedoms". Violence, ever more realistic, is heralded in movies and games and sets the stage for the emotionally unstable and immature. We refuse to elect anyone who champions peace and ignore police gunning down anyone they "were afraid of" whether they were armed or threatening or not. Indeed fear overwhelms the most violent people of all and becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
Meanwhile we spew hatred at anyone uncouth enough to peacefully protest such violence. Our secret police bombs targets of questionable merit across the world from the comfort of their offices near home while demanding more of our economy to wage bigger, better war against anyone who objects. Meanwhile our citizens go without. Without food, healthcare, shelter or dignity.
We excuse libertarian middle age white males who slaughter by the numbers only stopping to use the violence by a brown skinned person as an excuse to attack all such. The truly amazing part is humans resistance to succumbing to it all or the streets would be running in blood all day, everyday. Resist. For we have truly met the enemy, and he is us.
