I'm not afraid to admit it, but their damn advertising eventually worked on me. I work online so I am subjected to a high level of advertising - most of which has zero effect on me. I buckled one day though and the price was right so I went ahead and ordered two shirts.

The shipping was free globally and that should have been my first indicator that there has to be something wrong here because if I want to mail something overseas it costs an absolute fortune to do so in any sort of expedited manor- They are definitely not doing that though. It has been over a month since I ordered my shirt and they have not yet arrived. I presume that by the time it does get here that it will be out of style... not that this matters to me but it would be my luck.

I was getting a bit frustrated at the wait time because I DID already pay for this on a credit card so I went to the forums of the particular company in question only to see that the forums is inundated with dissatisfied customers, many of which have been waiting 2 months or more and many of the people who did (finally) receive a package are saying that it doesn't look anything like the pictures, 'tis the wrong size, or was damaged or even the wrong product.
I think there is a reason why these companies change names so frequently and this also explains the popularity of companies like Amazon or in Thailand, Lazada (which is essentially the same thing.) For me at least, i don't like the idea of waiting more than a month for a product I paid for today. I will not use this method of purchasing again in the future.
have you ever ordered anything off IG? Was your experience similar?
I've ordered quite a few things off IG in the past, and never had an issue. However, I've also mainly stuck to small businesses that were based out of the US. Instead of from what seems like some ultra, mega scammy fuckbois. Seems like these people just wanna whip out their cock and smack it across their customers face, and expect you to pay for it.

a lot of it might be because of the fact that I am not based in the USA. I would imagine most of the businesses on there are catering to precisely that market alone.

I honestly don't trust anything on Instagram adverts. There is just a weird vibe emitting from all the products featured there and they look like products ripped straight from AliExpress flipped for revenue.

I have not ever ordered anything like this, but have a friend that did. The picture was of a nice, stylish looking dress. It showed up basically looking like it was supposed to, but some of the seams came apart when trying it on. It was more like a pattern of a dress than an actual sewed together product.
Good luck on your purchase. I am like you, I don't care too much about that sort of thing. I get my clothes at the thrift store, but here in the US I have a big advantage because 90 percent of people dispose of really nice clothes every season. I have a name brand wardrobe off the dollar rack :)

I cruise by the mall and give the people a nod. Thanks ladies for wasting all that money for my benefit ;)

I haven't ordered anything off IG and hardly ever order clothes because they never fit and usually the quality is not what they describe it is.
However, I'm ordering other goods like baking tools and kitchen accessories (not electronics), small things. I always use PayPal as I know I can get my money back. Sorry to hear about your problems with them.

I would say you shohld only order things from seller within your region because this can be easily tracked.Buying from sellers that cannot be verified might result in fraud.Instagram has given people license to carry out fraud from the corner of their room and the liberty to be robbing people of their income in daylight.Hopefully your shirt will arrive later or not...

I can't say as though I have. In fact, I wasn't really even aware that you could order stuff off of Instagram. I thought it was just people posting their pictures and selfies and stuff like that.
