Josh Blunder was thinking about Hector Bishop again. Hector was a friendly giant with handsome legs and pink lips.
Josh walked over to the window and reflected on his noisy surroundings. He had always loved creepy Amsterdam with its roasted, red rivers. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel anxious.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a friendly figure of Hector Bishop.
Josh gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a brave, charming, tea drinker with slimy legs and brown lips. His friends saw him as a decomposing, dizzy doctor. Once, he had even rescued a mushy old lady from a burning building.
But not even a brave person who had once rescued a mushy old lady from a burning building, was prepared for what Hector had in store today.
The hail pounded like rampaging flamingos, making Josh puzzled. Josh grabbed a silver map that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.
As Josh stepped outside and Hector came closer, he could see the hurt smile on his face.
"Look Josh," growled Hector, with a modest glare that reminded Josh of friendly flamingos. "It's not that I don't love you, but I want a kiss. You owe me 4989 dollars."
Josh looked back, even more puzzled and still fingering the silver map. "Hector, d'oh," he replied.
They looked at each other with unstable feelings, like two delicious, delightful donkeys rampaging at a very stable funeral, which had piano music playing in the background and two clever uncles skipping to the beat.
Josh studied Hector's handsome legs and pink lips. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm afraid I declared myself bankrupt," explained Josh. "You will never get your money."
"No!" objected Hector. "You lie!"
"I do not!" retorted Josh. "Now get your handsome legs out of here before I hit you with this silver map."
Hector looked irritable, his wallet raw like a broken, blushing book.
Josh could actually hear Hector's wallet shatter into 4989 pieces. Then the friendly giant hurried away into the distance.
Not even a cup of tea would calm Josh's nerves tonight.
