Origin and personality
Her family moved from Russia to the U.S. during the Olympium war, in order to keep their new baby, Isadora, from Olympium exposure. After her father was killed by an Olympium-powered villain during a battle when she was eight, her family was found jobless. The government then employed Isadora’s mother to work as an Olympium handler. She would help load the Olympium shipments to other countries, due to Olympium still being legal and widely available. With this job, she could not keep her daughter completely safe from Olympium exposure.
Isadora was ten when she noticed her skin spontaneously and uncontrollably glowing at random. When her mother found this out ~and realized it was her own fault~ she hid Isadora from the world, not wanting the government to find her and employ her to fight in the raging war. Isa lived most of her teenage years in suffocating isolation, but, with her somewhat optimistic outlook, it gave her plenty of time to learn how to control her bioluminescence. She’d also discovered new abilities in her self-induced training. She has always found it hard to find things to enjoy, but the discovery of things that take her into another reality like books and video games earn the rest of her spare time.
One night, when she was sixteen, the Olympium shipment center was attacked by villains, her mother taken hostage. When Isadora heard of this, she swore to free her mother and avenge her father by becoming a hero and putting her powers to good use. With the council’s restricting missions, however, she knew she couldn’t just go on individual missions and save her mother. That’s when she decided to join Nightwatch, a group of vigilantes who delivered justice when needed. The group decided Isadora was skilled, and had a lot of potential for how young she was. She then became part of Nightwatch, still working to find and free her mother.
Equipment or unique items
Isa has reflective armor she sometimes uses to send off rays of bioluminescence.
Abilities
Ability 1
Bioluminescent skin: This was Isadora’s most obvious power, as well as the first one ever discovered. She can make her skin glow different neon colors. Sometimes, if she focuses on one part of her body or even more, like her hands, she can make them the only part to glow at a time. Whenever her powers are in use, her eyes glow a brilliant electric blue.
Ability 2
Energy blasts: She can sometimes condense the bioluminescent energy and Olympium power into energy blasts, which can stun an enemy for about a minute or injure them greatly when shot.
Ability 3
Glow spread: If she touches different objects, she can sometimes make them glow too. How long they glow depends on how much she concentrates while touching them. The bigger the object, however, the harder it is to cover it completely in bioluminescence.
Weakness
Isadora is impulsive and quick to anger, which can sometimes put her at risk if she isn’t level-headed during a battle. While she is mostly in control of her powers, they can sometimes become spontaneously activated and deactivated at inconvenient times. She’s trained hard to fix this problem, but it can’t seem to be fixed.
Other notes
Due to being the youngest of Nightwatch, she is often underestimated or held back, further provoking her fiery temper. She greatly appreciates when they put her on a mission; she knows that’s when she isn’t underestimated.
well done bro
