Song - Bad Blood by Bastille

The term 'bad blood' typically means something between a person or multiple people has happened and they can't get over it. A lot of times people say there's bad blood between families if they've been feuding for a while, for example.
I see this song as being about guilt. There's lyrics about people being bound by the days they spent together, but then clearly something has happened to cause bad blood between them and the singer is begging for the other person to simply let it go saying things like "I don't want to hear you talk about it anymore." and "Oh this bad blood here, won't you let it dry? It's been cold for years, won't you let it lie?"
As such, I think today is a good day to let go of the bad blood. If you're fighting with someone else stop, especially if things were once good between you. You don't have to ask for their forgiveness, but at the very least just remove yourself from the situation so things don't get worse. Don't make any more bad blood between yourself and other people.
And above all, let go of your guilt. If you feel guilty for fighting with someone, don't. And don't feel guilty if they won't forgive you, sometimes it just happens. Breathe, and move forward into a hopefully brighter future.
