At 2016, UNESCO announced that Shunde became a member of the UNESCO Global Network of Creative Cities and received the title of "The City of Gastronomy ", which is the second city named after Chengdu.
2016年，聯合國教科文組織通過官網宣布，順德成為聯合國教科文組織全球創意城市網絡組織的成員，並獲得「美食之都」的稱號，這也是繼成都之後中國第二個獲得「世界美食之都」名片的城市。
As of now, only six cities in the world have been awarded the title, which is China - Chengdu, China - Shunde, South Korea - Jeonju, Colombia - Popayan, Sweden - Ede Te Song, Lebanon - Zahle.
截至目前全球僅有六個城市獲此稱號，分別是中國-成都、中國-順德、韓國-全州、哥倫比亞-波帕揚、瑞典-厄德特松、黎巴嫩-扎赫勒。這也意味著，順德成功躋身全球六大「世界美食之都」之列。

這次是我第一次去順德，去之前完全只是想著陪老婆探親，本來一點興趣都沒有，但沒想到順德的美食令我如此驚艷。
Traditional Chinese cuisine, especially Cantonese cuisine, is especially high quality in there. I'm already planning the next trip to there !!
中菜，尤其是廣東菜，簡直完勝澳門街頭的中菜館，平均水準非常之高，令我已經在計劃下一次美食之旅!!!
