Siacoin, Obelisk Hype. (Market effect)

Being an investor since 38-70.
Used it as a host and a user. seen its software develop under time and seen its faults.
Lost a lot of coins from bugs (As host)

Teaser hype like this always makes me lose trust for company in crpto what's the point of releasing a statement that Obelisk is coming out and not saying what it is.

This is going to drive the price like crazy, hype about something that no one actually knows what it is.

I thought may be wrong, but either develop a project openly and tell everyone what it is from the start or do a ninja release.

Hypetrain, going to pump hard on the news and fall a bit before the release and probably makes the price go up a lot more than it should do with a ninja release. And if the release is underwhelming it will probably fall like crazy.

Ninja, one massive pump.

Open development, investors access early information and can see the potential this will probably make the coin more stable.

As a host its a problem that the coin is highly volatile, have to manually change host prices all the time for the changing fiat value.

I may be wrong and a little crazy. But the potential for market manipulation when Siacoin devs behave like this, is really high.

Sia actually realised what obelisk was some hours ago, its ASIC miner for Mining Siacoin.
