SIACOIN SC NEWS ALLERT!!

Genuine question, why would we sell before the fork? Aren't there coins to be had? I understand why the price would fall after the fork and so timing a sell will be crucial. But shouldn't we attempt to gain from the hard fork? Just curious! Thanks for the news!!

there is no new coin associated with this uncontentious hard fork. There are two types of hard forks: contentious and uncontentious. A contentious fork (not this) is created when a development team forces the fork and pledges to back the older blockchain thus creating a newer coin for the newer fork. An uncontentious hardfork happens when the programming code updates and there is no development team willing to take on and back the old pre-forked blockhcain thus there is no need for a new coin representing the newer fork.

Gotcha. I appreciate you taking the time to show me that!
