🔥 Sigiriya, an ancient rock fortress in Sri Lanka 🔥

According to legend Sigiriya was a city of gods built by King Kuvera the half brother of Ravana. According to the Hindu epic of Ramayana the builder of the city used the instructions of Ravana's father Vishravasamuni. According to archeological records the surrounding area was inhabited from prehistoric times.
