Openness: People who are highly intelligent tend to be very open to new perspectives/ideas.

Economy of language: People who are highly intelligent tend to communicate ‘efficiently’.

Curious: People who are highly intelligent have a certain insatiable quality about them (at least when it comes to intellectual pursuits).

Empathy: The smartest person that I have ever met actually had a very high degree of empathy. I would argue that this is perhaps the highest form of intelligence. The ability to think logically pales in comparison to the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes.

Thinks a few steps ahead: People who are very smart have the ability to anticipate conversations and can see outcomes faster than others.
