 Meaning of Karta-Purakh

Sikh Holybook starts with Mool Mantra (Root Mantra)

Below is the Mool Mantra

Ekk-Oung-Kaar    Satt-Naam   Karta-Purakh   Nir-Bhhow   Nir-Vair   Akaal-Moorat   Ajooni-Saibhang   Gur-Prasaad||

Today we will discuss "Karta-Purakh"

Again Karta-Purakh is a compound word. It has two parts; Karta and Purakh

Karta - Means Creator OR Doer/Creating right now

Purakh - Means Male but also it means "Merged", which is the meaning of Purakh in Mool Mantra.
