the inspiration that provokes
a rhythm that rhymes
and chimes our souls
is silent
immobile
the meaning that you look for
may not be clear
the music that sounds loudly
extravagant
and immediate
does not make you fear
but the meditative silence
of the ancient performer
cannot be drowned
in the loudness of the modern
it is the silence before the storm
it is the form of the formless
the form of our breath
the sound behind all sounds
the mark of our existence
the chaos of our oneness
the first word that was indeed wordless
