This Reply to @enforcer48 was Flagged Down Twice by a Steemit "witness"

in silencing •  6 years ago  (edited)

You completely ignore the psychological power and effect of flagging on those that are being flagged - FOR NO REASON. There has been tons of abusive behavior by big witnesses, by flagging as well as through systematically spamming and intimidating bot messages by @berniesanders, @anyx, @themarkymark and other big players on this platform.

I used this video of Jerry, because he explains the psychological effect of the flag very precisely.

I know what this effect means because I had to live with it myself.

When @berniesanders has turned your rep from 55 to 54 with just one flag downvote or when you are hunted in every post by @themarkymark 's @badcontent bot, because you openly say this stupid bot systematically downgrades posts of a channel like @amnlive, it is not funny at all.

When these guys pose themselves as "the law", while there are no official rules of behaviour on Steemit, and in fact act as nothing as "bad cops" going after every small fish that dares to question them...

Now remove that beam out of YOUR eyes and take the effort to watch Jerry's video.

The misbehavior by bad cop witnesses continues as we speak.

@anyx' @cheetah has taken over from @themarkymark 's @badcontent in chasing @amnlive newschannel for no reason.

He is now spamming AND flagging systematically EVERY post of @amnlive for absolutely NO REASON than to chase him of the platform.

What is these guys --or are this markymark and anyx and others one and the same person or group of people ?-- their agenda?

I really would like to know.

I expect your profits are pretty low. If you didn't keep buying votes on comments that don't deserve them you wouldn't get flagged. Oh, and your flagging only encourages us to keep dealing with your greed. I'm not getting paid for all my flags, but I don't like seeing rewards go to worthless content.

You are obviously smart and you could still be earning here without buying votes. We're not against you. We're against your abuse of a potentially great platform. It's your choice as to whether you have a future on it.

@cheetah shouldn't bother it, all it does is look for duplicate content. It is no smarter or dumber than that. If the user verifies he owns the third party site he can get whitelisted so @cheetah doesn't comment or flag.

The problem I have is different, posting 63 times a day is a problem. It's obvious no one really cares because there are virtually no votes on the posts. So it is just spam. No one is going to vote 63 times a day for one user even if it was something someone cared about. Now for this, there will likely be flags and issues.

If they want to be successful on Steem (which I doubt it is just a firehose syndication dump) they would create summary posts or even some journalism (omg actual work) and condense it down to 2-4 posts a day.

Otherwise no one wins. No one is going to read 63 posts a day, no one is going to vote 63 posts a day, they are going to get no additional exposure.
