$1.2 Billion Dollar Theft in Kansas

in silver •  7 years ago

The State of Kansas has passed a $1.2 Billion dollar income tax increase. Kansas would have been $900 million short by 2019.

Almost every single person in Kansas that works will be paying several hundred more in yearly income tax. This comes at a time when we can all see our economy declining in most parts of Kansas. My personal income tax will be increasing over 1.2% in the next two years. That will be on top of increasing health insurance, car/home insurance, property taxes, utilities, and noticeable inflation of almost everything. The increases will be much more than my 2.5% yearly raise would cover so who knows how much this is going to affect spending in the state. Chances are your in the same situation wherever you live. I have lived and worked in the state of Kansas my entire life and love it dearly! Were all going to go through this economic decline and debt bubble together. If the people of Kansas cant do it then nobody can! We also know what "The Wizard of Oz" was really about The yellow brick road was the gold standard and Dorothy wore silver slippers in the original!!!!

Penny for your thoughts... At the very least, at least you are not in Illinois. Horrors await those from Illinois as they can't pay their bills!

For sure, I can only imagine the economic hell that awaits them.

How does someone actually pull this off to begin with lol :D
