So I went to my local bank and picked up $100 in dimes and $100 in quarters, and spent a few hours with kiddos, talking and sifting, excitedly seeking silver.
As you see in the video, I find two 1968 Canadian 10 cent pieces... unfortunately first appearances are NOT always accurate.
Coin Roll Hunting for Canadian SILVER in 2018
Better luck next time...
As I discuss in the video, I do not expect coin roll hunting to be extremely lucrative, rather I see it as a pass time, like scratching $1.00 lottery tickets, but for free. Maybe most of the time I won't "win" anything, but sometimes I will, and given the importance I expect silver to hold in our future financial paradigm, I believe the effort will be well worth the pay off.
So you could say, I am disappointed but not discouraged.
Comments & Questions?
Do you have any questions or comments? If so please do let me know, below. I love reading and replying to your feedback, particularly since I am so new to silver stacking, and coin roll hunting, so I expect I have a lot to learn from the silver community.
As always, thank you for your time and attention, I hope you have an awesome day. God bless you and yours.
All silver coinage was taken out of circulation here in the UK decades ago. I'd live in the bank if I could get free silver.

Sorry it didn't work out for you this first time. Don't be discouraged though. The odds of discovering one are small, so just enjoy the process of going through them and maybe you'll find something. Better luck on your next search!

Thanks. Yeah, I've got my mind made up that its just for fun, and if it results in silver coinage GREAT but that's not the expectation.
I know I will have fun trying, and at the same time expose my daughters to "real" money, so come what may that's ok with me.

Yeah, living in Canada. We have silver coinage too, pre-1968. And even though I am canadian I plan to buy and hold US constitutional silver coinage, hopefully that will be my next purchase, this week, but its gotta be available at my dealer for me to buy.
