Got My Silver 10 oz Queen´s Beasts - Lion Of England Coin Yesterday.

in silver •  8 years ago

Yesterday my 10 oz Queen´s beasts lion coin came in the mailbox. I was posetively surprised by the quality. The quality is much better at the 10 oz coin than the 2 oz coins. Hope it does not get milk spots in the future. Think this coin will go well as it's first in the series.

The 2017 10 oz Silver Lion coin is a new addition to the Queen’s Beasts series from the British Royal Mint and one of the year’s most exciting releases. It is the UK’s first official ten-ounce coin. This pleasingly large coin is certain to be just as successful as the first issue in this exceptional series – and the mint’s first official 2 oz silver coin - the 2016 Queen’s Beasts Silver Lion.

Great coin mate keep stacking

Thanks! I will!

Awesome pick up my friend. Thanks for the share.

Thanks for reading.

I have the two ounce. Haven't noticed any issues with quality, what makes the 10oz better? Was thinking about getting it, but usually all my 10oz silver is just bars.

The edge of my 2 oz coins has been very sharp and uneven. Feels like the last finish is missing. But this coin is very nice.

Ahhh I wouldn't know...I never take them out of the plastic. All my coins are in airtites and the safe has tons of silica.

Silica is good, I have too. I've also seen that many vacuum packing their coins.

Nice beast, and the lion looks cool, too. :)
Regarding the milk spot... I heard, they are caused by a softener chemical in the plastic tubes. Appearantly a common problem with Canadian Maple Leafs in particular. So be conciderate in what you choose to store the coin in.

That theory was new to me. Have heard that it is due to something in the manufacturing process. Thanks for sharing.
