Got a detector

Hi Friends,

Well, after thinking about it for a while, I finally decided to pull the trigger and get a metal detector:

This is the Gold Monster 1000, which gives me a decent chance at finding some gold nuggets, which is what I am interested in. The costs on detectors are crazy, ranging from $100 to $5,000+, so this particular model is good, but not the best out there. I hear it is good for small gold too, but of course, you have to be in the right spot and also have the settings adjusted properly, so who knows how successful I will be until I get out there.

I have a few places in mind to go to, now I just need to find the time to get on the gold grounds. It is kind of the wrong season though, as metal detecting in my area is much nicer in the fall/spring/winter and not in the heat of summer. Bad timing, lol.

Good night friend, it must be fun looking for gold with a metal detector, here in my country it is very expensive and almost no one has it. On the island where I have lived for centuries the Spaniards lived and as there were no banks they buried the money and the clothes and coins were made of 24k gold, there are people who have obtained burials of that. When my father was alive, he used to walk with some gentlemen who told him where they had a gold burial and he went in search of those burials but they only managed to get some silver glasses and he tells me that they carried a metal detector and where they beeped they made the the hole and then when they made the 2-meter excavation because the device beeped as they continued to dig, the device no longer whistled there but on the wall of the hole and thus drove them crazy and they say it is because those burials have their spirits that take care of it and have the power to move it so they said friend. have a great night.

So awesome!! I remember growing up and going to the beach and seeing people walking around with metal detectors. I always thought that would be cool to do, and find treasure with it, haha.
