Washington Quarters

in silvergoldstackers •  last year

Hi friends,

I wanted to share an item from my precious metal stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition: a few silver Washington Quarters from the 1940s:

These are 90% silver and you can see it in their wear and condition. The silver value is currently worth about $4.15 per coin, and you can usually buy them for $5-8 per coin.

These are fun to have in the stack as they are a piece of history and you can have a nice sack of them without having to do too much care. There will also never be more minted, so the older they get, the more valuable they become, in addition to the silver value hopefully going up.

Thanks for coming by,
Brian

I figure our 90% Silver Coins will do 10 Times better than our Common U.S. Coinage... I'm expecting our Common U.S. Coinage to increase 100 Fold in Spending Power, so multiply that by 10 with your 90% Silver Quarters...

I have few of these also...:)...

Silver is a great haven of value, and it is quite likely to increase in price as time goes on.
I wish you a happy weekend

Thanks for New update. Most welcome

They are very much worn out, these coins have been in circulation for a long time. But they are already part of the story. A good addition to your silver collection
