Following the advice from Stacker Friends, gram by gram, I am working on my first Troy Ounce (about 31.1 grams) of Gold. The Local Coin Shop had these Fractional Gold Mexican Dos Pesos, at near spot price:

So, at about .0482 oz of Gold, each, times three, I am at just under .15 Troy oz. or 4.5 grams or one-seventh. It will take about 21 of these Dos Pesos to achieve the goal. Mexico also made Gold Pesos in 2.5, 5, 10, 20, and 50 pesos coins. The Fifty/Cinco Peso coin at 1.2057 Troy Oz is one of the lowest prices per ounce, ways to buy Gold. Thanks for looking. Yes, I agree about the value of Gold & Silver. Even Copper is and was Sound Money. But it will never be easier than now to get Precious Metals. Silver is still on sale, but will not be much longer. Getting Sound Money will require more and more resources in the future. There was a time when a skilled worker would be happy to work for one Silver Dollar per long day.
