Afternoon everyone....

It has been a long while since I’ve done a #worldcoinwednesday post.

But the wait is over.....

Today inspired by what what I came across on Sunday from the current box of mystery from my private security place. I was quite surprised at this finding, because I didn’t believe I owned a coin from this country.

And this country is.....

You guessed it Brazil.

Where our good community friend Ronaldo Avelino currently resides. While my coin is not in the condition I wish to collect, it’s not by any means a poor example.

It’s a 1913 Brazil 2000 Reis silver coin. It’s got some quality toning, but is not a grade that I would put in my world coin personal collection.

So here it is for you....

Maybe Ron can upgrade my collection with some nicer examples of Brazilian coins.
