Turquoise and Hammers

in silversmith •  6 years ago

I decided to try my hand at forming, (hammering metal on a stake to create three dimensional forms). Well....I don’t have a stake but I do have a mini anvil. There were some smashed fingers but I was very happy with the results. The bronze was the most fun to hammer; also the thickest and hardest. I am excited to try larger and more complex forms soon. You might be seeing some more cool pendants! And of course the turquoise is just classic. The airstream jewelry studio is working out pretty well, the original airstream lighting is pretty great too!
