ganesh chaturhi is a ten days hindu festival.ganesha is the younger son of lord shiva and parvati; ganesha have 108 different name.the festival celebrated to honour the elephant headed god.ganesha,s birthday. ganesha is the lord of arts and science. he is the honoured of the staret ceremonies as he considered the god of beginning,s. he's widely and dearly referred to as vinayaka ar ganpati.

the festival begins on chaturthi maharastra is the known for grand scale ganesha chaturthi celebration,s druing the festival colorfull pandals (temporarys shrines) are situp and lord is worshiped for ten day,s. thearare four main rituals drving the festival- the process of in fusing the deity in to a murti or idol. shhodashopachara-16 form of payeng tribute to ganesha, uttarapuja- puja after which the idol could be shifted after it,s infusion. ganpati visarjan- immersion of the idol in the river. n
