Today, I made a visit to one of the most popular places here in Visayas Region. The Island of Siquijor.
Siquijor is an island part of negros once known of its witchcraft and mystery stories. Now, it is one of the most visited places in the Visayas Region because of its Majestic Tourist destinations.

The island attracts many local and foreign adventurers. It has so many things to offer from Heritage to white beautiful Beaches to waterfalls and to adventures like the Salagdoong Cliff Jumping!

I only did a Day Tour Trip to Siquijor since I dont have enough vacation time since I exhausted my leaves credits (Hihihi)

As I step foot on the Island, I am already in awe watching the wide powdery sand that meets you in the Pier.

I immediately went to the pile of habal habal waiting for tourists in the nearby area to rent for a motorcycle since it is more convenient and budget friendly to rent than to hire a habalhabal to tour you around. Also, I alreafy checked beforehand the places I wanted to visit in the island through google map so I have already estimated some of my time through out the Day Trip.

First off in my list is the Enchanted Balete Tree in SanJuan Siquijor. It said to be enchanted since stories go around that there are spirits luring around the tree. But I didnt feel any weird aura when I was there. All I feel was amusement of how the water infornt of the tree is soo cool while you put on your feet for a fish spa. image
After the Balete Tree, I made a mini stop over to stores filing up along the road to check some witchcraft stuffs (But I didnt buy any though).

After taking pictures of the witchcrafts, I went to Cambuagay Falls to do some swimming. The falls is very easy to access. There is already cemented road so you wont be worried on your ride towards it. The falls has a sort of level with each level having swings for you to enjoy.

After enjoying the Cambuagay Falls, I went straight to Salagdoong Beach to see its unpolluted white beach! And definitely, it is worth a visit! It is quiet far from the main road but definitely worth the travel! This is my favorite part of my travel in Siquijor. Every view of the beach is very promising! There are not much tourist you see and you get to enjoy the sight of the beach by yourself. This is also where you would see the well known 60-feet cliff jumping adventure in Siquijor.

To top off my Siquijor Trip, this island is very budget friendly and is very accessible by sea transportion! Also, you can definitely tour Siquijor Island in just a day since the Island is soo small. So small yet very amazing! So, if you are looking for a cool budget friendly place to enjoy this summer season, come visit and witness the Majestic and Enchanting Beauty of SIQUIJOR!
