First woman Prime Minister was Sirima Ratwatte Dias Bandaranaike.

Born on 17 April 1916
On 21 July 1960, as a senator, she became Prime Minister of Sirilanka thus she became first Female Prime Minister of the World.

She completed Three terms.
1960–65
1970–77
1994–2000
Last time She left her office in August 2000.

She died on 10 October 2000.
