In 2015, the Canadian immigration agency launched Express Entry, an online application administration system designed to expedite qualified professionals' immigration. It has also grown in popularity as a global immigration scheme. The Canadian government holds an Express Entry draw, ranks candidates based on their CRS score, and invites them to apply for permanent residence. Applications for Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class are being accepted (CEC).
