Somewhere in the wood

Hi. What is the difference between sunrise and sunset?

"At sunset, our eyes are daylight adapted and may even be a bit weary from the day's toil," Lynch and Livingston write. "As the light fades, we cannot adapt as fast as the sky darkens. Some hues may be lost or perceived in a manner peculiar to sunset. At sunrise, however, the night's darkness has left us with very acute night vision and every faint, minor change in the sky's color is evident." src

I wanted to put it in preview, and now let's see the process!

Do you find it atmospheric?

And I also want to give you a trick (if it can be called so). Focus you camera on the bright part of your work to darken the overall tone of the picture, and vice versa.

Thanks! Live and dream!

Yours,
Alex Kopareiko

Oh neat, I have never heard that explanation of the difference in sunrise and sunset before! I enjoyed that little tidbit while I checked out your process. I saw @dandays share your post, so wanted to drop in and show a little support!

So talented, I have always appreciated those with artistic gifts. I believe that people with an aptitude for creating music or beautiful pieces like this is such a special way of expressing oneself. Most of us just have not been blessed with these skills.

Beautiful sketch of such a beautiful image. Good job and thanks for sharing.
