Dawn : The morning clock.

The word of the day from the list is chicken...like everyone else, im sure they were also contemplating on choosing to draw either a live chicken or some cooked ones. lol. So i chose to paint a whole crowd of em. I immediately remembered a scene from Mr Beans : Holiday when he chase the chicken to get the bus ticket into a chicken farm full of them. Then it made me wonder, how do chicken always constantly crowing every morning without failed and had served mankind as the natural alarm clock since it's existence.

Chickens were also a symbol of prosperity in a lot of places in the world especially for the Chinese community which i also found its relevance through a lot of reasons. "Early bird gets the worms" and other idioms across different cultures and localities confirms the relation of these chickens and the symbol prosperity.

I tried to create the dawn mood with a play of different colour palette, a braver contrast of hot and cold for experimentation. and i kinda like it personally. :)
