Africa, with its rapid increase in population growth, reducing data costs and heavy adoption of mobile phones, having largely leapfrogged personal computer use, is tempting for tech companies. Executives such as Alibaba Group Holding Ltd's chairman Jack Ma have also recently toured parts of the continent.

Countries like Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa, whichich Google listed as the initial target for the plan would reduce cyber crime rate in the country due to the job opportunity it will create for those that already have little knowledge but couldn't get a job before. I really commend Google on this approach, it's big kudos on their side.
