POWER TIPS FOR REMOTE WORKING THE WEB
http://devot.ee/skillshare/how-to-boss-mode-on-upwork/
this is the first full mini course i've released over here on steem. the youtube video above is 'unlisted' on youtube. i push all my courses on skillshare first and then a few weeks later i release them on steem and into the wonderful blockchain (i'm still learning how all this works) i feel like it makes sense to release my #donein20 minutes mini courses here. it's all original, my own content that i'm putting up on the internet and making a small amount of money from each month.
the courses are made in keynote, i use colourlovers.com for the colour palette, i add in slides and do greenscreen voiceovers to deliver the information. i have nearly made fifty courses over the last six months and i'm on target to finish the hundred courses i had planned at the end of january. i'm also doing something quite special for december 2016. i'm also well on the way to 1000 followers (people that get notified of new courses) on skillshare which was a goal i set myself.
i've been working on upwork now for a couple of months and i'm loving it. it's a great platform, they take a chunk in fees but i'm just glad to have the work, i've had some consulting work and some greenscreen work and i'm looking to develop more partnerships on there. i'm in the process of making a showreel of the work that i can do and it's my hope that by opening up my courses here on steem i can be used as a resource. i'm really interested in living, earning and co-housing in the blockchain world - i think it will make for very interesting videoblogging content, especially the first payout! :)
i've had a few good months now on upwork and i've worked with a few clients, i think i've started to finally put together a good idea of the ways that you can really accelerate the chances of finding that ultimate, regular paying client that wants to work with you when you deliver good results. i've also developed a few ways that you can get the jobs faster than everyone else! - follow these steps and you can be putting in your proposals quicker and more effective than everyone else!
- setup iffft to scan rss feed and output to pushover
- discussing the $10 monthly upwork package
- setup $5 desktop push notifications app, receive lighting quick proposals
- using the feeds app on a mac for free updates
if your looking to make a change, just been made redudant, looking for information about how to work from home you should take this course, lots of knowledge and wisdom is contained within to help you get started with finding work on just this platform (upwork) but you can use the knowledge and take that onto other remote working sites. once you find your flow you'll be good to go!
