So this is indeed a very nice place to stay and spent great time. In general the water does look clear, but as I read your comments there is a lot waste (plastic) in the water.
There will be a day that the plastic could be changed back into oil; maybe with such a "device" it will be interesting to collect the plastic and make new oil out of it.

These are beautiful photos of Nusa Penida. Since we have a diving school here in Sanur, we drive almost daily by boat to the dive sites around Nusa Penida and every time this is a great experience again. Do you live in Bali? Sunny greetings
