Why slavery is useful
The world we know nowadays was only made possible by slavery. The world's historically most powerful and dominant nations all used or were built by slaves; ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, The Roman Empire, The British Empire etcetera. In present times most countries have strayed away from using slaves, however all of them have a history with slavery and were doing quite great in this period of time. The world is in decline in multiple ways; economies are failing, global warming is ravaging the earth and the best way to combat these problems is simply by reinstating slavery.3

Why it will work
There are a lot of homeless people on the streets, that could be quite useful as slaves. They wouldn’t get paid anyways, because they can’t get jobs, since they are homeless. They are stuck in an eternal circle of being homeless, so the only way they could be useful to our society, would be slavery. They will be fed three times a day, which is probably more than they would have ever gotten as homeless people. They won’t get paid, but they will have a better life so they probably won’t care. If they complain, they will be thrown out of the slavery program. After living on the streets for a while, most of them will probably regret their decision and they will return to the slavery program.

How the program works
The slavery program is funded by the government, paid from taxes. If you want to sign up for slavery, you can visit the local city hall. You’ll have to sign a paper and agree to the terms of service. After you give your consent, you will be sent out to a slaveholder, who will provide you with your designated sleeping spot. The slaves will work from 6 A.M. till 10 P.M. with one lunch break of 10 minutes from 1 P.M. to 10 past 1. They will get two toilet breaks per day, that they will have to inform their slaver about, 1 hour in advance.

The slaves have health care provided by the government, slaves do need to do minimal physical labour in the period of their recovery. When slaves hurt themselves to avoid working, some perks, such as health care and meals will be taken away.
This will prevent them from hurting themselves and since the government pays for their health care it is important that they stay healthy.

Slavery as part of the law
Slavery will be introduced as a punishment for certain crimes. Nowadays, some criminals will be sentenced to court ordered community service, this will still be an existing punishment, but forced slavery will be the preference hold by most judges.
You can be sentenced to a certain period of time in the slavery program, depending on the severity of the crime. Hard drug abuse, for example, will be punished with 3 months of mandatory slavery. Refusing to attend the program will lead to a longer sentence. Refusing convicted will be taken from their homes and arrested. They will then be sent to a slaver without being given the possibility of giving their consent, as it is a punishment.

Other benefits of slavery
Because homeless people will be provided with shelter and enough food it is predicted that crime rates will drop. Research shows that “A fifth of all homeless people have committed a crime to get off the streets.” It also shows that 28% of rough-sleeping women have taken an 'unwanted sexual partner' in order to find shelter. This means that slavery would not only decrease the crime rate, but also decrease the amount of rape incidents.

Hard labour will not only improve the physical state of the slaves, but also their mental state. The slaves will learn how to work under pressure and will be more disciplined than ever before. They will enter the program as pathetic, weak, possibly addicted criminals and homeless people, but they will leave as disciplined soldiers. When they return to society after enduring the slave program, they will instantly be respected by others. Their lives will most likely improve significantly.

Conclusion
Reenacting slavery will only serve to benefit both society as a whole, as well as the people who are directly involved in the program. Crime and rape rates will decrease, as well as homelessness. It will offer people a chance to become a part of society again, as well as providing with free meals and health care. The world will be a better place in so many aspects. Because slavery is the cheapest form of labour, it will be preferred by most governments. Homeless people and criminals will be turned into disciplined workers in a short matter of time. This is one of the only possibilities for them to regain their place in society. It has worked for hundreds of years, so why wouldn’t it work today? If you care about a better world, show some bravery and support slavery.
