I realized something about human nature a while ago; Sometimes just as a child will throw them selves on the floor, as a way of getting the mother to rush and comfort them, That this is actually a common but immature practice used by some or several adults as a way to force or test or manipulate the love of others. Interesting because one of the three temptations of Christ was when Satan suggested he throw himself off of a high place. I call it "The temptation to fail on purpose" it is a real decision some are inclined to make. As for every safety net that society tries to implement to help one person back on their feet,. there is another person who will also try to use that net as a trampoline. AKA exploitation. The lesson of this runs deeper still. For If you are a user/manipulator of others in the short term, you will be more inclined to accept.. being used.your self in the long-term, It can also be a cultural behavior learned from poor (unwise) parenting. But it is also the reason some make better slaves than others. And why slavery is actually something that the slave must cooperate with to become or remain enslaved. This is also the reason some employers will treat their workers like slaves. They have that mentality... Yet once word gets around fewer will seek employment with them. Or women will avoid them. None of this is an attempt to blame outcomes on anyone but to be aware and selective of the company and the character you keep.
