It is my first time of hearing that word bandana and after making research on it I love the beautiful designs of bandana. I decided to take part so as to learn how to make bandana for myself. This week challenge is making the lying down stitches and low stitch.
To perform the tasks, I got my tools ready and handy
Tools
- Yarn
- Scissors
- Bead
- Needle
Chain of 50 stitches
I made a chain of 50 stitches to begin my work as instructed. You can watch how I did it in the video.

After making the chain, I added 2 more chain stitch then started making the sequence. As I turn I started with a high stitch, I made 2 point of it, leave two hole free in between the sequence then put my needle in the third point and close it with a slip stitch.
I continued with 2 chains, two lying double crochets and close with a slip stitch. I continued this process till I reached the end point.
I returned to continue making sequence in the other side to make it equal sequence. So while turning, I chrochet 6 double lying down stitches close it with a slip stitch using the opposite side of the sequence as seen in the image above.
I continued the same process till the end.
I crochet a rose and take a photo of ithe finish work. In the previous season we were taught how to make roses and I was able to make it because I was being taught.
I added a pearl bead to it just to beautify my bandana.
Then I sew the rose to the bandana and it was really beautiful.

It was really challenging to make and I tried my best to do it out successfully.
Suggestions;
Please I will humbly suggest that the explanation of the chrochet steps should be done in writing not video because we find it difficult to understand the video please. But with translator, we can easily translate text to our readable language for understanding. Thank you for understanding
