People walking in sleep often do such things which are extremely dangerous. But there are many benefits to those sleeping in which the rest are disadvantaged.
A research has shown that the ability to multi-tasking increases in people who sleep. This research, conducted through virtual reality, has shown that there is a difference in the body movement of the body and other people who have sleep disorders. It has been found in this research that people who are habituated to sleep can not only walk well, but their brain works fast to move in different directions.
Researchers did a test on some people. Those people who used to walk in sleep, and people who were sleeping, were asked to walk towards a virtual target. These goals were changing in a little while, due to which both people were moving towards their goals in their own way. However, in this test, it was found that people of both types fulfilled this task in a way.
But when some challenges were put in the next task, there was a difference in the performance of both the people. All people were asked to walk back and say the countdown. As a result, this challenge did not make a difference to those who had a sleeping problem and easily completed the task. But people with normal sleep problems had difficulty in completing these tasks.
Researchers said that this work showed us that sleep-stricken people can understand changes in a better way. That is, whenever the problems of different forms come to them at one time, their brains can better deal with it, rather than those who do not go to sleep.
