Top Ten Metal Vocalists at These Days.....

in slipknot •  6 years ago

When a great vocalist takes the stage, it's impossible to turn away. The metal genre has many such charismatic singers, and we're honoring 10 of them right here.

  1. David Randall Blythe (Lamb Of God)

1.jpg

(born February 21, 1971), is an American singer, best known as the vocalist and lyricist of American heavy metal band Lamb of God. He has also performed guest vocals for Cannabis Corpse, Overkill, Gojira, and EYEHATEGOD and he is also the lead singer of side-project band Halo of Locusts. As a teenager, he looked up to bands of the hardcore punk scene such as the Sex Pistols, Bad Brains, and Black Flag.

2.Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy)

born July 31, 1985) is a Canadian vocalist, best known as lead vocalist of the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy,[3] and former lead vocalist and founding member of the Canadian metal band The Agonist.[4] Her vocal style includes both growling and clean vocals (singing).[5] Although primarily associated with melodic death metal, she has appeared as a guest vocalist for power metal and symphonic metal bands, notably Kamelot and Delain, and has performed live with Nightwish and Tarja Turunen.

  1. Phil Anselmo(Pantera)

3.jpg

Philip Hansen "Phil" Anselmo is an American musician who is best known as the former lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Pantera. He currently is the vocalist of heavy metal bands Down and Superjoint Ritual.

  1. Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour)

4.jpg

The youngest ‘newest’ frontman on the list, but an unquestionable contender for Best Metal Frontman. Whether terrifying fans across the planet in his masked Slipknot attire, or sending rock radio rioting with Stone Sour, the sharp and witty singer will go down in history as one of our greats.

  1. James Hetfield (Metallica)

5.jpg

A demon on guitar as well as on mic, Hetfield has lead the Metalli-troupe from strength to strength. Standing spread legged in centre stage and engaging crowds with his melodies (and his laugh), not even the band’s infamous 1992 pyrotechnics accident could keep him away!

  1. Ivan Moody(Five Finger Death Punch)

6.jpg

Ivan L. Moody, known by the pseudonym Ghost during his time with Motograter, is the lead vocalist for American heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch from Las Vegas, Nevada.

  1. Alexi Wildchild Laiho (Children of Bodom)

7.jpg

In 2004, Laiho founded a side-project called Kylähullut, which was assembled together with Tonmi Lillman (ex-Sinergy) and Vesa Jokinen 69er (from Klamydia). The band was created merely for the entertainment of the musicians, and takes a carefree approach to their music. The band's discography includes two EP's, and two full-length albums.

  1. ZP Theart (DragonForce)

8.jpg

In late 1999, Theart began to put out advertisements at Thin Ice Studios, which were eventually responded to by former Demoniac guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman. Together, they formed a band called DragonHeart, but the name was later changed to DragonForce.

  1. Geoff Tate (Queensryche)

9.jpg

n 2015, Queensryche is no longer fronted by Geoff Tate, but he will always be remembered for his work from its early days, including the first two albums, The Warning (1984) and Rage for Order (1986), as well as the best and most well known masterpiece of a concept album, Operation Mindcrime (1988). With a voice that projected so many emotions and feelings within the notes he sang, Tate's soulful expression truly came to life, and set a standard for other heavy metal/progressive rock singers at the time, that many failed to live up to

  1. Dani Filth (Cradle of Filth)

10.jpg

Cradle of Filth was, at a time early on in its career, one of the scariest bands in extreme metal, and were at the forefront of black metal's mainstream popularity in the U.S., in the mid to late '90s. Vocalist Dani Filth was a singer with not just lyrics, but eloquent, biblical, vampiric, and evil tales and mythologies, sung in a demonic high pitch death growl. It alternates between grunting and a terrifying howling shriek that is like a black metal, grindcore version of Bruce Dickinson.

If any Suggestion please tell me about it...
