I like to paint different colors than things have. Sometimes it is harder to harmonize this than to mix real colors. This is brook in forest near I live. November.
Last days I come back to painting nature in my imagination. I feel these changes before they happen. It is very interesting. When this change matures, I am unable to do anything at all. Now I feel I will paint many paintings like this...

Special event before start which I really joy - great meditation. I use palette knife to mix my spectrum from three primar colors. In this case: dark ultramarin, medium yellow cadmium and alizarin red.
I like to paint on vivid background. It tends whole painting, somewhere I leave it unpainted and it gives to painting dynamic.
I paint alla prima, put colors and than mix them on painting a bit.

Really lovely! I love all the colours that you put into the canvas and you made it work, some pictures suffer when there are too many contrasting colours blended together, but not this one. I see an elegant transition that you created from red, blue, green, into yellow. Nicely done!
