These days have been obsessed with EOS, mostly because of the consistent updates @samstickkz and @tojukaka keep sharing everyday on the social media; same way i got to know about STEEMIT from @samstickkz.

EOS is the gospel of blockchain for developers and investors, it incorporates everything DAPP developers need right now (server hosting with web interface and cloud storage for decentralized applications (DAPPS) developers; and they can even download bandwith provided by the EOS system.)

The advantage EOS has over other operating system like Ethereum is the ability to scale up to a million transactions per second on a single machine, and to support 1000 transactions per second at start, unlike others that take minutes to complete a single transaction.

Ability for developers to recover their stolen accounts is also found in this operating system. Various methods for proving your identity and restoring access to a compromised account is also embedded in this OS.

Apps build on EOS is free to use, its depend on the individual application developers whether to put a price tag (which might be extremely low) to it or not.
