At least if it's a politician, you could persuade people not to vote for them or something. You're probably not gonna convince anyone not to buy a specific car, phone, or computer they otherwise would and are just highlighting your petty envy. Me saying so isn't sticking up for billionaires, I'm just recognizing it's a sad obsession for losers to live with.
