What is SmartCash?
SmartCash is a fork of Zcoin project, with some feature like with the found on Dash (such as privacy and quick transactions) that comes with unique twists (renew).
Like BTC, SmartCash is an open-source project with it's own blockchain, wallet, and active community. However, unlike Bitcoin and other old project, SmartCash don't want to neglect it's member. Beside, it's a community-centric digital currency where in 80% of the block goes to the project propose by the community, 15% goes to SmartRewards, and the remaining 5% goes to the miner.
Do I earn SmartRewards using Coinomi wallet?
There is no official statement yet, but in my opinion, my answer is "YES" since your SmartCash is still save in the blockchain you do earn SmartRewards using coinomi as long as you are illigible.
What is SmartRewards.
This features, dont require it's member to “stake” there coins to receive SmartRewards. Instead, user's simply hold at least 1000 SmartCash to there wallet to earn from the SmartRewards monthly over and over again, lifetime until the last drop of SmartCash! 15% of the block reward monthly has been allocated to fund SmartRewards.
Members are not required to go online, or spend some SmartCash from time to time. The best part even your paper or brain wallet address is accumulating more precious SmartCash monthly.

Never used coinomi before, but if it is an exchange, I doubt it will be eligible for the rewards. Will need confirmation from the hive though. But in general if you had smartcash in any of the exchanges, you're not eligible for rewards, which is why the topia incident was so big. But I don't know, probablty coinomi's wallet is actually from smartcash web or something?
Btw, between cryptobridge and coinomi, which would you prefer? I haven't used either of these exchanges before. I don't like HitBTC and I'm also gonna stay from coinexchange for now. So i'm kinda considering cryptobridge, and now that you've mentioned it, coinomi.

I have coinomi but I've always been afraid of storing significant amounts on a wallet on my phone or tablet. Especially using a custom roms like CyanogenMod or switching phones and moving all the private passphrases, 2Factor Authentication, best to keep a backup up to date especially adding new coins. If you have multiple devices you can restore your wallets to them but then it's more exposed. I like the concept of having a wallet on a phone, it helps adoption, easy access and with shapeshift built in it's easy to send and receive any crypto. I haven't needed to bring crypto daily life but I store my popular public keys and as QR code on Google keep to receive and offer Google wallet or PayPal when exchanging funds among my peers.

Yeah I wouldn't dare store my crypto on my phone either. I'm just interested in how good and reliable the exchange function is so that i can get a quick trade if needed even if i'm on the run and away from my laptop (which I am a lot of the times given what I do haha).
