Ever since the invention of decentralized autonomous organizations, I have been fascinated with the concept of treasury funds and proposal voting systems. However, most projects have a barrier of entry that is simply to high for a normal user to participate. Most projects you either have to be a master node operator, which in Dash's case requires 1000 DASH, or you have to have a minimum amount of coins to have a vote. In the Decred system, you have to purchase tickets in order to have a vote. For most of these other projects one would need anywhere between $500 to $350K simply to have a say in the voting system.
