SmartCash Community Governance: Can Oligarchy be Prevented?

Great post. I also agree that 1 SMART is 1 VOTE is wrong. Who ever has the most SMART wins any vote in so called community voting. So if you have lets say 100 ppl that vote YES and then one person can simply outvote that perposal. The centralized SMART team should considere changing this voting algorithem.

Thanks for your comment! To be fair the SmartHive is meant to be a decentralized, not a centralized team. If we want to make a change WE need to make it happen, no one is going to do it for us. Before a proposal is even considered for a change this radical, I'm hoping for some reasoned discussion with my fellow Smarties so holes in the idea can be found and fixed. And if the consensus is the idea is simply not worth pursuing, I wont push for it.
