Seven months ago being Friday May 04, 2018 8:08 smartcash announced the introduction of their new sister coin on Bitcoin forum name Bitcoin Confidential.

Bitcoin Confidential will be an entirely fungible cryptocurrency. All transactions will be private to create a genuinely fungible cryptocurrency using Ring Signatures technology.

Bitcoin Confidential will not use less compromising protocols, and so will incorporate Ring Signatures for untraceable payments as default.

SmartCash ticker symbol (SMART) holders will get a 10:1 airdrop of Bitcoin Confidential for example 1 SmartCash = 10 Bitcoin Confidential coins in the new chain.

The initial plans and ideas of the smartcash project was to be a privacy coin, with scalability and fungibility but issues arose to be wholly on the mass adoption of merchant transactions
. and because of the privacy features, smartcash risk being delisted from exchanges just like monero and other privacy coins, and this wilk really affect the mass adoption of smartcash and merchants usage which was the sole aim, hence the removal of the privacy features and the introduction of thw sister coin*

Its been 7 months since this was announced, but no specific date was mentioned.
all we know was that the ratio to airdrop was

But happily and excited we the smartcash community has been patiently waiting. until about few minutes ago, when Mark announced the snapshot of Bitcoin Confidential to smartcash holders on smart discord server 😍.

On 15th December 2018 Is the date of the snapshot.
