My understanding is when you see the total accumulation of smartcash in any wallet through smartexplorer then it is not truly a privacy coin. What would be the point of hiding a transaction if anyone can still see how much is in each wallet?

Okay. A is isis leader, B is regular guy. B sending X to A. Now A got his cash+X. Goverment arrest A, but will never know about whos B. Thats why you hiding your transactions.
