I've followed instructions from the mining pool and managed to get one mining going with a laptop (tied to a corresponding worker at the mining pool)
I'm trying to set up the second working on a desktop machine running windows 10. I did EXACTLY what I did for the laptop, changing of course the worker name and password. But sgminer just refused to run, saying it couldnt connect to a server etc.
I also attempted to use ccminer, since sgminer was giving me the problem... here is a screenshot of what ccminer gave me
From the mining pool dashboard, the worker is never active.. as if no connection to the pool was ever made..
I tried to disable the firewall to see if that was the issue, but the same results I got.. so I'm totally lost
Any help from anyone would be great
I have found the problem.....
It looks like my ASUS router has something called AIprotection powered by trendmicro tech. I've turned them off, and the problem is gone.
wee.. but my GTX770 hashrate is not that good, around 80mH/s
